Random thought........by eating fresh foods on PCP, we tread lightly leaving a small "greener" footprint. We can't we promote eating fresh (supporting our farmers) to help the environ and the economy?
Good point! Since we've been eating so many eggs, I decided to only buy from local producers. Pacato and I visited the farms where we got our weekly share from all summer/fall and seeing where the eggs came from especially renewed our commitment. It's more expensive, though (around $4 a dozen here)...but I think worth it.
No packaging! Yeah! Our trash has gotten much more friendly, hasn't it? Slow food movement is something I have always wanted to get more involved in. Maybe this is the time.
Emily, we have been struggling with the egg thing as well, but I think the extra cost is worth it. I am looking at starting a farm share next year. The place I really want to sign-up is about 2 hours outside of Houston. Different than our co-ops available in town, in they also have eggs, free-range protein and more. But I am still looking around.
The Peak Condition Project is a program created by wellness expert Patrick Reynolds and fitness trainer Chen Zhongtao. Using the simplest of materials, adherence to diet, classic kung-fu training techniques, and social networking, PCPers achieve the physiques they've always dreamed of.
